Dr. Krista Bennett-Bruns and her husband, Dr. Robert E. Bruns, IV, have four children, 3 active boys and 1 beautiful girl.  Spare time is spent at swim meets with their children at Crawfish Aqautics.  The family enjoys travel, riding four-wheelers, fishing, and watching NFL football, especially the New Orleans Saints!  They are members of Healing Place Church in Baton Rouge. 

Krista Bennett-Bruns, D.D.S.

Dr. Krista BrunsDr. Krista is a graduate of Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. After graduating in 2002 from dental school, she accepted a position with Capital City Family Health Center in Baton Rouge until opening Bruns Family Dental Center in 2003. Dr. Bennett-Bruns, DDS is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and is a volunteer for the Special Olympics “Special Smiles” program and the ADA’s “Give Kids a Smile” program. She volunteered for several years with Rotary International and Louisiana State University School of Dentistry to perform dental mission trips to needy children and adults in Jamaica. While at Louisiana State University, she was a member of Delta Sigma Delta dental society. Dr. Bennett-Bruns is a graduate of Parkview Baptist School in Baton Rouge, Southeastern Louisiana University, and attended one year of graduate school at University of New Orleans where she studied Cellular and Molecular Biology. While at Southeastern Louisiana University, she was a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority, Gamma Bet Phi Honor Society, Delta Omega Alpha Pre-professional society, and was a volunteer for The American Red Cross in Metaire.  

Robert E. Bruns IV, D.D.S.

Dr. Robert BrunsDr. Robert E. Bruns IV is a graduate of Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. Dr. Bruns began practicing in Kenner, LA in 1999 and opened Bruns Family Dental Center in 2003. In addition, Dr. Bruns held a part-time faculty position at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry from 1999-2003. He is also an officer in the Louisiana National Guard. Dr. Bruns is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, volunteers for the Special Olympics “Special Smiles” program and the ADA’s “Give Kids a Smile” program. He also volunteered with Rotary International and Louisiana State University School of Dentistry to perform dental mission trips to needy children and adults in Jamaica. Dr. Bruns is a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University and was a member of Theta Xi Fraternity, Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society, and Delta Omega Alpha Pre-professional Society. He and his wife, Dr. Krista Bennett-Bruns, have four children and are members of Healing Place Church in Baton Rouge.
